Race Report

Well, I beat last year's time by 3 minutes...so that was good. I wish I had done better on the bike and run, but my swim was pretty good. I had fun and my little brother Troy was there to support...all in all, a good race! 

Echo Triathlon

OK...tomorow I have my second race of the season up at Echo Reservoir. It is a 750K swim, 20K bike, and a 5K run. It makes me a little nervous, even though I've done it before. I'm kind of excited to see how I do. Also, I've been Diet Coke free for a week...and oh how I miss it! I'm getting the biggest one I can find tomorrow after the race is over. The start gun goes off at 7 am...wish me luck!

I get paid for stuff like this?!?!

So, last Friday, after a stressful work week, I got to hitch a ride up to the High Uintas and take some pictures while a guy I work with checked on the dams on Washington, Lost, and Trial Lakes. (I took all the dam pictures I wanted...ha ha ha) Anyway, we decided to hike up to the top of Mt. Baldy to get an overall shot of the lakes. It was a beautiful day...and I got paid to be out in the wonderful sunshine and fresh air! Lucky me!
