This is my new favorite show. I'm addicted. I love a makeover show, I love weight loss shows, and I love wedding dresses. It's like this show was made just for my viewing pleasure. Brides with 6 weeks until their wedding can't fit into their dress...the solution? TOMMY EUROPE! He and his nutrition cohort dispense diet and fitness plans to get the brides into their dresses on the big day. And he kicks their butts into shape. I love it! They also do the Last 10 Pounds...if you're not getting married but need to lose some weight for another big event. I want to be on this show! Check it out if you get the Fine Living Network (FLN).

You WIN...if you are one of the first 5 to respond...
I never win anything, so I was the first to respond to this on my sister's blog. So, if you want to be a winner, to... here you go...
I double dare you to accept this challenge. This game involves a few of my favorite things: handmade goods, creativity, and gift-giving. Here are the tagging instructions: The first five people to respond to this post will get something made by me! My choice. For you. This offer does have some restrictions and limitations:
1- I make no guarantees that you will like what I make!
2- What I create will be just for you.
3- It'll be done this year. (might be a little while)
4- You have no clue what it's going to be. It may be a story. It may be poetry or an article on properly cleaning your face before a masque. I may draw or paint something. I may bake you something and mail it to you. Who knows? Not you, that's for sure!
5- I reserve the right to do something extremely strange.
The catch? Oh, the catch is that you must re-post this on your blog and offer the same to the first 5 people who do the same on your blog. The first 5 people to do so and leave a comment telling me they did win a FAB-U-LOUS homemade gift by me! Oh, and be sure to post a picture of what you win when you get it!

Running Nerd
My sportband died..and it's been recalled. I was looking for something simple to replace it, and I got sucked in. It's official. I'm now a running nerd with the computer on my arm and a strap around my chest. I used to tell people I didn't care about how fast I was going or how many calories I burned (as long as I was close to breaking even after eating the burger & fries). Then, I got sucked into the techie-ness of running. A virtual partner that I can race? Wahoo! GPS tracking can show me how far I went and upload the exact mileage and hilly-ness (that's a word)? YES! I can get beeped at if I fall below my desired pace? GREAT! I am still trying to figure out my wonderful little Garmin, but so far, it's my new BFF.
